Manux 1.3 dengan code nama irengmanis dibuat berbasis ubuntu 11.04 (natty). Manux 1.3 hanya menggunakan 1 thema yaitu irengmanis.Namub demikian, manux ini sebenarnya merupakan modifikasi dari AriOS 3.0 yang bisa dibilang turunan ke dua dari Ubuntu 11.04 (Natty) dengan menambahkan berbagai fitur yang lengkap dan menarik, khususnya Aplikasi Game, pemutar suara, aplikasi browsing yang dibuat lebih banyak.

C640 "frozen" without internet connection

If you have any laptops with Atheros AR8152 network adapters are likely to experience freezing when installed Debian linux derivative such as Ubuntu, LinuxMint, etc. I have proved it on the laptop which Thosiba Satellite C640D sepesifikasi network controller is Atheros.

Wireless Brand, Model and Wireless Chipset:

If your laptop is frozen when the network is unplugged and has a network controller as above, there are easy ways to overcome them.

  1. Turn on the laptop and then press F2 to enter BIOS.
  2. Select Boot Options and Select lan as the first boot.
  3. Press F10 to exit and save.

Now your laptop will not freeze when Lan Network unplugged.

Ubuntu 11.10 'frozen' at satellite C640

Hi friends, a few months ago I have installed ubuntu-amd64 11.10 oeniric oncelot at satellite C640. which type of laptop is the AMD processor. I use the boot flash to install it and the condition of the laptop is connect to the internet with the lan network. No problem in the install this version of Ubuntu on the laptop. however, if the internet connection is disconnected a few seconds later the laptop to freeze (hang). this is the same as when booting or GDM login every few seconds the laptop also be frozen. I've search on the internet, visit ubuntu forums but no satisfactory answer. I kept trying over and over again, such as update ubuntu, network blacklist, finally after several failures can be concluded that the lan network which causes the laptop to be frozen.

If you are experiencing as above, I have a trick that does not resolve the problem but can make the laptop's not frozen. There are two ways:

  1. If at first install ubuntu at Satellite C640 does not connect to the internet, do not functionalized or disable the lan network. You can set it in the BIOS press the F2 key to search for Lan Network. In the lan network change the option from enable to disable.
  2. If you connect to the Internetn and successfully install it. Do not forget to disconnect the network and select the option also disable the network before shutdown the laptop. This option can be found on the lan icon near user acount.

Now, your laptop will not have frozen to the matter. however, if you find a better solution please contact me with your comments on this post. thank you for all .....

Install Canon IP1000 at Ubuntu 10.10

Yesterday, after a successful install linux ubuntu 10.10. I have a problem when install the printer. I have a canon ip1000 printer, I know this printer does have a long time but still strong and durable. so, I love wearing them.
Long time since I search on google finally see also ... :

follow the steps below:

1. Download Driver Printer Canon IP100 from Esnips.com.

2. Then install with command:

   $ dpkg-i [driver name]

3. Connect and turn on the printer

4. Then Open Home:
System -> Administration -> Printing -> New
note: Let the system find its drivers.
5. After the meet, Select Type of Printer Canon ip1000 and follow the prompts to complete.
6. Try to make the print a test page.
7. Success! This is the simplest way I have ever known.

If you have any printing problems and get this message "Print error ubuntu Because the scheduler job stopping Could not
execute a filter ", try two methods below by copy and paste the command in Terminal:

sudo chown root:root /usr/lib/cups/filter/pstocanonbj

or


sudo chmod 700 /usr/lib/cups/backend

find hardware information in linux

Hi, friends .. well, let's get started ...
Now we know that Linux is more popular now and more beautiful it looks. but sometimes we are faced with the constraints of information about drivers that are suitable for our machine. Well, follow these steps:
1. Make sure your Internet connection connected, because we will install an online repository.

2. to know that we can use hwinfo software. How to install it just type in terminal:
$ sudo apt-get install hwinfo

Lan Card and Wifi Drivers for Thosiba L640

Last time, I'm having trouble installing applications on ubuntu 10.10 in laptop thosiba seri l640 via lan card. Maybe what I learned can be useful for you. So, congratulations to read these articles:

The first requirement to install the lan card or wifi in thosiba / computer, we must know the type and version of the drivers we need. so ... follow the steps below:

1. To find out open a terminal / console in ubuntu with (ctrl + alt + t)
2. typing 'lspci' without the quotes.
3. see a list of pci in our laptops, can be seen that the drivers for the laptop thosiba l640:
- wireless is the Broadcom Corporation Device 4727 (rev 01)
- Lan is Atheros Communications' AR8152 v1.1 Fast Ethernet (rev c1)
4. After learning, immediately wrote download the driver here.
5. Extract the driver by typing :


tar-xvf [driver name]

6. And Then type ./ scripts / driver-select atl1c
7. make
8. install the driver by typing: sudo make install
9. success .... install lan card.

after lan card installed, the next step we install it by typing wireless:

sudo apt-get install bcmwl-kernel-source

for this time we must connect to the internet via lan which we have installed.

after work, try typing 'ifconfig' to see a list of lan or wifi that has been active and ready for use.

if successful, it would appear etho0, etho1, lo, each of which already have setup.

Yach walaupun masih dalam versi Beta2 ternyata Mudah juga dalam Instalasinya.
Adapun Komputer Server yang pernah di coba Windows XP 2 Profesional dengan Clien Linux Zenwalk 5.2

Mengapa Zenwalk 5.2?
Alasan penulis di sini yang pasti Enteng klo di buat PIII dengan spec : 800 Mhz, Memori 256 MB dan HD 10 GB :). Bisa dikatakan Enteng !!!

Tutorial penggunaan WinSCP

Sobat Muda, Berikut Tutorial penggunaan WinSCP yang telah aku janjikan pada post yang lalu .

  1. Tentunya Install dulu dong WinSCPnya :p
  2. Buka WinSCP yang telah di Install
  3. Atur / buat  alamat baru untuk clien di stored session - new
  4. Tentukan : 

          1)  alamat / host name linux. : semisal pakai IP, ketik IP Adressnya . ex : 192.168.1.
          2)  port default : 22
          3)  isi user name clien linux & Paswordnya
          4)  kosongkan aja private key file jika tidak diperlukan
          5)  protocol biarkan seperti adanya
          6)  save

    5.  Oke lalu masuk stored session - pilih cliennya dan LOGIN

NB. Langkah2 no 4 seperti gambar di bawah ini !!!

Cara Install Printer IP1000 di Zencafe 2.0

Setelah sukses Intall Linux Zencafe 2.0, yuk pertama-tama kita coba Install Printernya. Sayangkan, terlanjur 12 clients di install Zencafe..eh ternyata problem pada waktu  install printer. hwe hwe...Gimana apa gak pusing tuh?
Eits.. tapi jangan kawatir sobat, Install printer di Zencafe 2.0 cukup mudah ternyata.

Zencafe 2.0 yang buat warnet aku install Canon Yang Bandel Banget wes Pokonya namanya Canon Pixma IP1000. Berikut langkah-langkah Cara Install CanonPixmaIP1000 di Zencafe 2.0 :

- Pertama unduh dulu drivernya:

Untuk semua printer :
bjfilter-common-2.50-2.i386.rpm (23 KB) MediaFire

For PIXMA IP1000:
bjfilter-pixmaip1000-2.50-2.i386.rpm (1477 KB) MediaFire, bjfilter-pixmaip1000-lprng-2.50-2.i386.rpm (88 KB) MediaFire

File-file yang perlu di download antara lain :
  • bjfilter-common-2.50-2.i386.rpm.
  • bjfilter-pixmaip1000-2.50-2.i386.rpm
  • bjfilter-pixmaip1000-lprng-2.50-2.i386.rpm
Namun ada kendala pada bjfilter-common-2.50-3.i386.rpm. Kendalanya gini "Driver Dapat sukses terinstall tapi printer tidak reaksi sama sekali pada waktu di buat Print" perbedaannya terdapat pada seri kernelnya -3 (lihat: bjfilter-common-2.50-3.i386.rpm.).

-Kedua masuk ke terminal login sebagai root



-Masuk ke lokasi Download driver, dan Convert File *.rpm ke *.tgz
 Gunakan Perintah rpm2tgz *.rpm



-Install semua File hasil Convert
 Gunakan perintah installpkg *.tgz



-Restart CUPS
 Gunakan perintah /etc/rc.d/rc.cups restart



-Setelah selesai tinggal setting printernya melalui :
 menu(start) - control center - printer manager
 setelah masuk, anda diminta masukin password root anda isikan dan add printer  ( lambang + , pastikan printer sudah on dan terkoneksi dengan benar) pilih canon ip1000 dan ikuti perintah 2 selanjutnya. mudah kan???

Untuk Printer Description masukan seperti di bawah ini !
Printer Name : CanonPixmaIP1000
Description    : CanonPixmaIP1000
Location        : (kosongkan)

Kemudian  Apply dan Coba Print Test Page .....bunyi kruuuuuug ..berhasil !!! :)

Warnet : Migrasi ke Linux Yuk

Bismillah ...Sore ini tepatnya 05 Januari 2010, kurang lebih 15.00 WIB , Mumpung nganggur, sepi pelangggan, turun hujan lagi.....Aku coba dech install server warnet dengan linux atau tepatnya Zencafe 2.0. Hasilnya cukup mengesankan. Komputer server aku pakai dual-boot, Windows sama linux. yach maklum harus dikit2 ni klo migrasi.. istilah jawanya "alon-alon slamet". Kalau langsung TOTAL...Wuuiiih bisa dibanyangin ...untuk jaringan, sharing, koneksi printer, olah grafik. dll.... kan juga perlu dipikirkan juga BISA GAK!

Hemm tampilannya lumayan juga, langsung aja yach ni salah satu screenshotnya :



Keterangan di atas sebagai berikut :
Pada Zencafe 2.0 sudah dilengkapi autorecovery (yach semacam deepreze lah klo di Windows), untuk Office memakai Open Offfice org 3.0 trus untuk billing menggunakan ccl yang sudah include dari awal install zencafe 2.0 so gak perlu lagi tuh cari-cari billing segala buat warnet. Makanya zencafe ini paz banget buat warnet, karena disamping ringan bisa berjalan di P3 Memori 128 MB (dibritanya gitu, tp aku belum coba hehe..mudah2 an aja Gitu), fasilitas-fasilitas yang diberikan juga cukup lengkap buat Internet Cafe.

Jadi, Yuk kita Migrasi ke Linux, jangan ragu-ragu Windows sekarang juga Nggak aman karena bajakan hehe ... lagi pula menurut Fatwa MUI adalah haram kalau memakai tanpa ijin...wah-wah!!!  ini aja status aku darurat...tak anggap gtu. Soalnya jujur Aku Juga PEMULA, Newbie banget masalah linux wes..hihi.

Bagi warnet-warnet yang masih OS Windows(G'resmi) sekali lagi Yuuuuuk Kita Migrasi !!!

1. libccls_0.7.1-2_i386.deb => Pustaka Billing Warnet Server
2. cclfox_0.7.1-2_i386.deb => Billing Warnet Server
3. libcclc_0.7.1-2_i386.deb => Pustaka Billing Warnet Client

Untuk Billing warnet server download file berikut
libccls_0.7.1-2_i386.deb
cclfox_0.7.1-2_i386.deb

download ke home folder dan install:
$ sudo dpkg -i libccls_0.7.1-2_i386.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i cclfox_0.7.1-2_i386.deb
lalu jalankan Server Billing CCL dengan perintah:
cclfox -nossl

Billing Client

Untuk Billing warnet client download file berikut
libcclc_0.7.1-2_i386.deb
cclcfox_0.7.1-2_i386.deb
download ke home folder dan install:
$ sudo dpkg -i libcclc_0.7.1-2_i386.deb
$ sudo dpkg -i cclcfox_0.7.1-2_i386.deb
lalu jalankan Client Billing CCL dengan perintah:
cclcfox -host 192.168.0.254 -name WS1 -nossl

Setting Tarif normal dan paket pada CCL, juga tips dan trik menyusul
